An heirloom quality pen. The Gatsby pen hearkens back to the days of F. Scott Fitzgerald. The pen plating is Gold Titanium Nitride, more expensive than Gold plating, and a nearly indestructible finish. The wood is Maple Burl, harvested in West Stockbridge in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. The finish on the wood is a polished coat of acrylic. The pen carries a lifetime guarantee against defects.
The pen uses a Parker™ style ink cartridge. In addition to the standard roller ball cartridge, a gel cartridge is also available.
Gatsby writing instruments can be made using a large variety of colors of acrylic and wooden bodies. Additionally, the Gatsby pen is available in different platings and as a Twist pen. If you have a particular style in mind, please contact Berkshire Pens.
